The late Federal agent, Joe Oliveris(sp?) was notorious for popping up in impossible places and being crazy hard-nosed about making what the head of Federal enforcement on the south end of our state, Dave Hall, called "skinny pinches" when he did. When I heard the story first time I was with a police officer from Kentucky. He said out loud that the guy is asking to get shot. I think it's possible if he managed ro pop up under a bunch of ducks.
