The big far away planets pass up the ones closer to the sun. In the sky it appears that one will circle another at times but it's just the fact the Mercury and Venus are so close in comparison.
This fact is what got early astronomers to study it in detail. Actually there were trying to figure out when to plant crops.
We take the calendar for granted.
In ancient times they must have fought a lot over what day it is.
March 3. Tomorrow we have a parade

When Jupiter is in conjunction with Venus we call it a kiss. That's sexy.

When Jupiter is in conjunction with Uranus is called.....

Hm...
You missed the wild duck cluster. Me too. Pffft.

Tonight if it's clear I'll try and catch a look at the ISS.
It'd go a long way towards getting me to believe that nasa actually does space things not just faking it.

Not sure I'd believe even then.
Could be all a fake "sky program" and we really are on the back of a turtle.
Turtle turtle.

That telescope is actually programmed to find the iss.
It's one of the "objects" in the menu.
By the time I find it the thing will be gone.
