The hotel we are in “Quality Inn” is anything but...

Gonna check out and try another. Sarah got a lesson on reading reviews today.

I can handle a lot of things but cold coffee and bed bugs don’t make the list. Plenty of previous guest DNA in our room. Knew it wouldn’t be good when I noticed none of the garbage cans had been emptied in a while, walls were filthy, and floors trashed.

Almost 9:30pm, 4 floors of rooms and the parking lot is pretty much empty. A lady came in, asked for a room and the desk lady said they were full.

It was a quality Inn in Steele Missouri.
They insisted that I'm going to share a room.
insisted.
So I said fine I'll roll out my sleeping bag on the floor and camp with you.
Dale. Insisted that I'm using a bed so he's going to use my bedroll. He INSISTED.
OK FINE.
Later Dale discovered that I sleep with a dog to keep warm.
His nose told him.
This aint no holiday Inn and I'm not a role-model for children.


And then Chad caught me cleaning ducks in the bathroom sink. "We brush our teeth in that" he shrieked.
4 mallard drakes went into the dumpster and that was that.
Jesus Christ I thought you all were bad ass waterfowlers that sleep in your trucks to get a spot in the race.
Shaking my damn head.


I'd sleep in my truck if I read reviews about bed bugs.
