Don't know that I'd of told that on myself.

You might if you knew the entire story.
They called out of the blue.
Acorn we shot specks and don't know what to do with them. So I scrambled and commenced to chasing them geese down.
I went thru two states?
When I caught up to them they'd breasted them geese and you can cry about the feet and legs but I can't.
I was pissed...
So I said fuck it and made lemonade Rick.
You'd have demanded GPS cords for the ditch they threw the carcasses in and drive back to Missouri for them?
Shit happens man..
You want names?
To top it off they'd ditched one of their buddies that day.
Pushed him on me so I got to take him hunting.
Thats always nice.
Jerky eats good.
Go find them legs.

All Johnny talks about these days is those squealer legs, and was a bit bummed our trip to see Rick didn't produce any this go-round after the previous year's haul. We still had a fine time with the migrators nonetheless.

This aint the same.

Plus them black birds tend to stay low and don't hide up in trees around here. Redwing blackbirds are a Prairie bird.

That’s a woodpecker, just don’t know what species. Maybe a flicker?

Maybe. Them flickers come thru and eat bees.
That'd be a good guess.
I don't know but some bird watcher does.
It's not a duck or at least doesn't count towards a limit.
