Argo's

I"m considering making a purchase for a used argo 8 wheeler and would like some opinions from those that have experience with them...pro's and con's. I'm seeing it as a great way to get into hard to access area's. Fill me in

we used one when we hunted in kansas a few years back. the owner had one and we used it to break ice on his 10 acre pond ,it did good at that ,floated very well in 3ft of water and traveled quickly on land he said there was very little maintenance breakdowns, just do a checklist like you would any conveyance machine, fun to operate,

I remember the only two I've been around as being high maintenance - but that was decades back.

You better know your shit about chains and sprockets.
That's what will break. Keep two cans of spray grease in the thing.

Argos are absolutely wonderful machines for work and play
We have 3 on site at the airport.
I highly recommend you purchase before someone else does
The Argo will get you and gear to any waterfowling area and will serve you well.

Airport? Will my new 2023 Robinson Raven II lift one of them safely?
750 pound payload. It's doubtful.

When you figure out which gender you are you could paint the Argo like a pride flag so we all know it's you and to go hunt somewhere else.

LOL, Here you are, talking about gender choices, when ,for years, you went by a female name. Makes complete sense as to who is confused. Meds might help with that :scooter:
