Finally!!!

Postby Weston81 » Thu Nov 01, 2012 10:45 am

I save almost all my vacation(20 of 28 days) for the last two months of the year and it's finally here. Will be saying c-ya to the office for all but five days this month to go chase ducks. The last week could have not gone by any slower than what it has. Best of luck to you guys, hope everyone has a great season.

I use the rest of my vacation the last week and a half of december as our season ends Jan 2nd. I tell you what, I love having all this time to hunt but it makes the year REALLY long when you get nothing but a few extended weekends and days off here and there to take care of your kid's when they get sick.

I'm limited on when I can pick vacations in my area at work. I try to pick what I can that will benefit me the most for hunting.

I take one for a conservation hunt in Feb and the rest in November and December.

I work shift work so I get swaps with my relief on nights and he works my day shift and I work nights. I can almost hunt everyday of the season. By the end of the first split I'm worn out.
