What'cha think?

Add new brush or not?
Looking at the back of the blind. The front looks better.
I'm thinking some saw grass and a few cider branches in the lite spots.

Pull all the brush off and paint that bitch white. Give the birds something to see, then they'll notice the decoys. Then you kill them. Build a deck on the front, set out a couple lawn chairs, pretend to toss food to all the decoys you have clustered around you. Then shoot them. I'm almost positive this will work.

looks good but, not very natural. Every one of the 1000 blinds out there are brushed with pines. I'm thinking of trying something a little different.
Besides, the pines just don't like right...out of place and just don't blend in.

I said PRETEND to feed them. Just sit there reaching into an empty bag, tossing bits of nothing to the plastic ducks out front. You may have trouble keeping the damn seagulls away, though.

if you want natural, the only option is marsh grass. get a sharp ass knife and cut handfuls of it until you've got enough to cover the blind. start at the top and work down, usualy takes two or three rows to cover from the top to the water. use thin strips of wood and screws to hold it up there.

I agree with Assa and, I suggest you put a hitching post at the front porch and tie up a big arse Ranger bass boat that is wrapped in some sort of flourescent advertising like "Berkley Gulp" or some other such thing. Those bastages won't know what hit them. Make sure anytime the birds are in ear shot you talk out loud and call each other "bubba" and "Clevis". Always have a can of cheapo beer in at least one hand, something like Keystone or other sewer water brand.

If you put enough brush in it Jehler will get envious.

Are those marsh clumps behind the blind? If so try fast grass that looks like that and mix in some of the marsh grass like bufflehead said but I would use a weed whacker to cut the marsh grass. Much faster.

Cut the blind in half next year so that your almost in a lazy boy situation in your seating. dress it up with grass that is in your picture. Totally agree with doing opposite of what everyone else is doing.
