The area I want my garden in has a stump and if I end the garden next to the stump it'd be 75x25 but I could make it 75x40ish if that stump wasn't there. Would you guys just go around it? I know it'd be a bitch to cut up the roots.

looking great ASSA, what is that directly behind your garden?

Oats. They should be getting cut here in about two weeks or so. Then beans go in. I hate bean years. I prefer the wall of corn, that is the best privacy fence ever invented.

Leave it. Plant cucumbers all around that bitch, and then train them up and over it. That way you're not wasting dirt space for the cukes, and saving yourself a great deal of aggravation as well.

This is the area I'm going to be working with. I'd get the extra 10ft if that damn stump wasn't there (yellow arrow).

In that photo you're looking north so the sun comes up and give that corner a good 6-7 hours of light a day. That's the ONLY area in my yard that gets more than an hour or two of direct sunlight.

Unfortunately, that's mine. I'm a little upset that they won't let me paint it. It looks like a bag of broken assholes, right now, and I'd like to spruce it up a bit.

It's very mild, and the last two years have been milder than most. Usually, the winter wheat is ready to go in about 2-3 more weeks.

Probably not. Something about "access", and "it's not your tank, sir". I was gonna paint it like my hybrid. But when they said no, I asked if I could just repaint it white. Nope.

Yea I hope it works out, I will probably end up making the garden smaller than my ambitions when I actually start tomorrow.

That looks pretty damn good for a first pass. Thinking about it, you may have to buy done bigger pepper plants, because jalapeños take a while, and it's getting late. You'll be fine on pretty much everything else, though.

Paint it and don't say a word. If they ask say "I dunno, must've been vandals". What are they gonna do about it, take it away from you?

Or, just wave the wet paint brush in their faces and tell em to eat a bag o dicks.
