Trim first then mow or vice versa? I've always mowed first then trim what I can get to with the lawn mower.

Just mow. Trimming is for people that care.

I dig up anywhere that's hard to mow and plant flowers or vegetables .
Fuck trimming. I'd rather dig it up.

I poured as much gravel as I could afford to have less grass to cut

I know a woman who sent her teenage son to Farm and Fleet in Urbana to get weed killer for their lawn.
Someone sold the kid roundup and instructed him in how to spray the entire lawn with it. :)

DEAD.
Farm and Fleet paid to re-sod a very large yard. Almost 5 acres.

I filled a little spray jug for my granddad with roundup once while I was killing an alfalfa field, so he could use it around his trees, sidewalks, driveway, etc.
I told him - "do not spray this on anything you want to keep. It will kill pretty much anything it's sprayed on"

He sprays all the stuff he wants dead and then decides to rinse out the sprayer....there was a perfect arc from the door of the garage across the lawn for about 10' where he tossed it out.

What's the point in having that though? It can kill people and homes that were treated with it had to be chemically remediated. I really hope for the sake of people around you that you aren't spraying that.

Chlordane is the shit!

One time application and you're good. Ever hear me complaining about bugs?

You use it once...that is why I have some from the 1970's. Its powder and you sprinkle it, not spray.

Bet I'm the only one who still has some. Its like gold.

I still have half a brown glass quart bottle of chlordane. That stuff works! So powerful that it will make your babies be borne naked.

Pretty sure agent orange is not available to the public o2m.
To answer your question though. The shit they sell in stores for home use is dialed way back. Diluted. It's more expensive too and doesn't work half as good.

so your saying roundup is good or bad?
in the midwest almost anyone can walk into farm surplus store and get "real" roundup.
agent orange is a mixture of 2,4d and 2,4,5t. i make my own when needed, but round up is still the clear winner.even in the big box stores they sell round up in concentrate. same exact shit as what you can get your hands on. i just spent all day spraying around buildings. probably killed a cat or two also

I'm not talking non selective herbicides. Im talking about stuff I can spray on my yard not touch the grass and roast all the weeds.

Just spray some roundup over the whole yard and you won't have to mow or trim.
