Then into the oven once browned on each side. Top it with salsa or have it on a bun with curry and mayonaise. IDK.

Your supposed to salt them and smear them on crackers with a mother of pearl spoon and then eat them with your pinky up

I do salt the right brown trout roe and rinse tough in distilled wa wa unless i need it really bad for steelhead fishing. i cold smoked early cohos and kings first thing too. I just cant help it with cream cheese and bagel. those spring fish are so fresh those dont deserve to be smoked but im feigning.

I don't know about walleye but herring eggs are awesome. Also shad eggs. God I would kill for some fried herring eggs right now

Yes they turned out well. Same recipe as a crab cake type dish. The eggs get pretty watery so adding some flour helps keep their patty form.

Flight Control. This doesnt hold a candle to herring roe.
