				Coot recipe?  Reasonable or not

				I hunted with a guy who I believe is very trustworthy.  He told me to breast them out, soak them in buttermilk, then fry them.  Anyone heard of this?

				I was told they arent a fish eater, water plants are their main diet. But I suppose depending on where they are and what type plants they're eating would determine the taste.

				They actually do taste good. Honestly. All I did was soak the beasts in salt water for a day, drain, soak in Worcester for a day, and fry. Came out great. I'm not passing on those little buggers any more unless there are ducks flying.

And they're right up your alley since they don't often fly.
 
Don't hate the way I regulate.
