That extra skin is just add'l weight/profit margin for them, but I like the thought of using it for a wrap around. I've always cut the extra skin and fat off when cooking, and loves me some thighs, with skin or skinless

My wife will be happy as long as it's cooked and she didn't have to do it.

Canned red beans tonight. Got the smoked sausage, onions, jalapeño and banana peppers simmering in some water for about 45 minutes. Once the water is boiled out, dump the can of beans and stir for 10 minutes. Good eating.

When your water, onions and peppers have turned into a yellow paste, dump the beans in and stir for 10 minutes on medium heat. Easy peasy!

My wife has a little cupcake and cookie side hustle. These are peanut butter cup cupcakes. She’s making some other ones tonight as well. There is a peanut butter cup in the middle as well. Peanut butter frosting.

Logan and my wife made sugar cookies with home made icing and sprinkles.
Oh yeah.
Every two weeks Logan sleeps over. Grandson.
She goes and gets him a few little snacks and I end up eating it.

Meat and cheese wrap and black coffee for my supper. My wife and a few of the kids are at a barbecue competition selling her cupcakes and peach salsa. She forgot about the rest of us at home. I’m sure they will be enjoying some good food there. I don’t really mind though because I usually receive a lot of the profits for hunting gear. So I can find it in my heart to forgive her!

The right half are dill pickle and the kids absolutely love those. I believe she marinate them in pickle juice for a while and then has some seasoning that she puts on them. The left half will be basted with Asian sauce, barbecue sauce, and buffalo sauce.

I could never eat green beans like that I would puke all over the table! My wife makes some pretty good dilly beans and I can tolerate them that way. Don’t know what it is about green beans being cooked like that. I can eat a couple of them raw at a time as well but then the puke feeling comes.
