She started jamming raspberries and strawberries last night. I love this time of year! Whatcha canning?

What do you mean it is caning time? :lol:

That has a whole different meaning :oops:

BTW, I am not canning or caning anything.

I hope my brother is canning some pepper jellies. He makes some absolutely delicious jellies although he moved this past year and I'm not sure he has access to all the berries he did.

Maters. We did jelly but have learned to do just a few jars.
It's sick how the strawberry jam you buy has zero strawberries in it. Pisses me off.

We're doing more maters. Probably about 16 pints this time. Them jars have gotten pricy.
It is $15/case for pints.
In 2019 they were $9.

Today were doing the "sauce".
20# of romas.
Them stoplight peppers are a $1 each.
Should make 12 quarts of sauce.
