Pork chops for Porkchop

She did some kind of Parmesan crusted deal with these. Pretty tasty but they were a little rich in some spots due to the Parm. For whatever reason I’ve never had a pork chop that beats one cooked with shake n bake. Maybe it’s because that’s how they were cooked when I was a kid but I love me some shake n bake pork chops!

Try this Aunt Betty recipe.
I forget the exact details but my wife remembers.
You partly cook a box of stove top stuffing mix.
With your family double or triple the idea...
Take the partially cooked stuffing and put it into a baking pan. Add 4 pork chops, cover, and bake.
After the pork is done remove them, uncover, and dry out the stuffing by baking it about 5-10 more minutes.

If this sounds interesting say so and I'll have my wife fill in the blanks. She cooks that frequently because it's easy and we like it. Pork chops and stuffing.

I believe I have had something like this before but I don’t have the recipe so I would definitely love to have it as I love stove top stuffing as well

It's good. Works for pork steaks too.

Just a little salt and pepper is all they need.

My wife loves them with pork panko. She's diabetic so breading is not good which is how she used to like them. Just dunk them in eggs coat them in the pork panko. Very good actually, but I don't think it's worth the little extra effort and mess.

Fill in the blanks, I’m hungry.

You just mix the stuffing mix with enough water to get the spices to stick...maybe 1/2 cup. Preheat oven to 350.
Put it all in a cake pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes covered.
Uncover, remove the pork, and "toast" the stuffing.
It takes about 45 minutes total.

I guess PorkChop needs three cake pans.
