Every single toon is ...
Leprechauns!

No fair.
The blacks get an entire month and us micks only get one day. ( during women's month)
It's just not fair.

I sending emails to the gubmint right now, demanding more Irish days. For the record, I’m only about 1/16th Irish. My paternal great grandmother was a Murphy.

I ain't so lucky.
If you check my genealogy you'd probably find indentured servants from England on one side and the other side were target practice for the German army.
A rough bunch.

About geneology...
If you go back far enough your relatives double in numbers each generation you go back.
Two parents
Four grandparents
Eight great grandparents
Sixteen great greats
Thirty two great great greats and so on.
This fact is why EVERYONE has at least two civil war officers in their family tree. Pick one.
We actually have their swords.

I’ve got some German target practice peeps in my ancestry too, Lol. They through them on a boat in Bavaria in the 1700’s and shipped their asses to present day Hahnville, LA. They called it the second German coast when the boat crashed there. Lucky me!

There are Irish bars in Chicago.
How you do it.
Walk into the bar, challenge them to play pool, call them a bunch of micks then declare that "I am THE MURPHY".
It'll be lots of fun.

Oh yeah...Murphys pub is right here in town..
The thing about that place is you're allowed to pull out a knife and carve stuff on the table.
I put my mark on there way back when they built a new building with all new tables. It's over priced but has been an Illini icon for a century.
