Do you make home-made ice cream?

I try.
Let's here what you got, your recipe, how good it is, and why. :fishing:

We do different stuff. This 4th I'm using Junkett brand mixes from a box. It's not that bad.

It's complicated but that's what she likes.

I’ve never used an ice cream mix. That’s interesting. Wonder how it’d compare to the ole evaporated milk recipe. Suspect it’s similar

We've done lots of recipes and mixes..I dont remember but I think the best is when you cook it and then it's called custard I think?
We've also try tried doing fruit sorbet and that's worth doing.
My grandson Elliot is really into fruit it's like all he eats.
That vanilla bean paste is fantastic but is $15 for that little thing. 1 tablespoon =an entire vanilla bean.
I have to make ice cream and BBQ then deliver it this afternoon. They have big plans.
Grampaw cooks and delivers. 8-)
Not to Louisiana ...yet.
