Well I haven't had much of a chance to bow hunt this year. Our shotgun season starts tomorrow, so I knew I better try to kill one of the big bucks I had been seeing. I hunt 120 acres that surrounds my house, but the owner has guys come down from Detroit for shotgun season. So I can't hunt shotgun season in my normal spot. These guys will kill anything with antlers. So I have been hunting the past week after work. I only have about 1.5hrs before dark when I get home from work. I have been watching a 150"-160" 8 point every night, but could not get within bow range. I haven't had anything walk within range at all this season. So I had decided whatever walks close enough is going to get shot. I just want some meat for the freezer more than some antlers. Well here is a pic of the first deer that walked by tonight. Not a huge deer, but a pretty neat rack. 13 points
