Puddler Photo Contest - June

Postby Olly » Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:47 pm

Time to get this section going, I would like to start a monthly photo contest. It's very simple, submit photos that you've taken. I know we're all out training out dogs or scounting for new spots and if you guys are anything like me, you love to stop and watch the birds.

Photos should be of waterfowl or very closely related to waterfowl.
The last week of the month I'll take all the photos and make a poll. The most votes wins.
The winner gets a custom rank under his name and bragging rights until the title is taken away by the next winner.

Good luck, I know I'll have my camera handy next time I go scouting.

This spoon punched a small hole through the ice, when I walked out to get it it was floating under solid ice.

Thanksgiving morning - a few years back. I had gotten really cold and the inland lakes were mostly frozen - I didnt have time to run to the big lake before family obligations, so we went to a little spot on a river that pretty much never freezes...

We went back the next day too...

I think possum just throws em out of the back of the truck and snaps a picture. He doesn't think about the quality of the picture too much.

I prolly should have been more specific. Just one submission, so for the first month ill ask someone that didn't submit to pick their favorite of each persons then well vote on those.

I've been to some of QH's hunting spots. He said that we need to 'check' a few things on the way back. I didn't know we were checking live traps for waterfowl.
