Green horn forum guys, lol.

You've got some direction here, take it and run. Use the ladies car for scouting since you can just walk down anything messy to check out spots and it'll be easier on the wallet filling that than a truck.

This is the Greenhorn forum. It's meant to give new hunters advice without the jokes, if you don't want to give advice or feel the question doesn't warrant it just don't respond.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Olly,

I was serious about internet scouting. You can find damn near every map online and water conditions, etc.

If I was new to aan area, Id be looking online first.

new guy, if you want to come to KS any time other than the NCH, I will take you hunting. But your brothers are not invited, and you will have to show me your DU membership card.

And no drinking on my boat.

I rarely drink a beer for any reason.

Scott is a different matter. But I never do it around guns or while I am on the water.

Wow! Never expected to get so much repetitive advice!

I was already looking into dropping the brothers and doing my own thing. Just thought it wouldn't hurt to get someone else's opinion. Will definitely be doing more scouting this season.
