I also got a 1960's A5 for doves and a 10 ga double barrel that I use occasionally for ducks.

SBE, Nova, and A-5. The SBE gets most of the work, but on nice days the A-5 comes out.

That is a slick looking gun!!! My Dad has a few and told me to take my pick of them and I was torn on the round knob or the square knob.

Belgian or Japanese? Looks like a later production because of the grip style. Either way it has some high quality wood on it.

I think it's a 28 inch but not sure on that. My Dad has a 30 inch and that thing seems huge, so this may be a 26in.

How long is the barrel on your Nova? It looks like it is at least 2" shorter than the A5.

My Dad started out with a light A5 back when lead was legal, and about a year or two ago he went on a kick and bought 6 more A5's, all mag's with invector chkes. So before duck season this year he calls me into his den and he has them all laid out and tells me to take the one I want. I sat there for 20 min going through them and just finding the one that felt right to me. I didn't care about value but he has some with round knobs and variying barrel lengths so I was looking for the one that fit me. That was the one I picked, the other are going to the grandkids, as I am his only son. It was a really, really, neat moment between him and I. He got so much joy in watching me struggle to decide    . Our relationship has been something else to say the least but as I've gotten older and I've realized that maybe I didn't know it all we've found a common ground and it was a special day for me. Sorry not trying to get cheesey here, just thought some may appreciate the moment
