Hunting on and around salt water is hard on guns. I normally spray my SBE with WD-40 and wipe it down after every use and take it apart and clean it with hot water and liquid dish detergent a couple of times during the season. One of my hunting buddies usually washes his Benelli M90 in the car wash when he washes his boat and then sprays it with Corrosion X. We don't seem to have any failures except when he ran over his shotgun with his airboat and broke the bolt handle. Had to cock and load the gun by banging the butt on the floor of the blind for a couple of days but it kept shooting.
