Red Lion was a FABARM, it was only imported by H&K, same as the older Benellis. It was the best shooting gun you'll have.

It was a good shooter. I have also shot a Gold Lion.

But to date, none of them have fit me as well as the Benelli M2. The 870 comes close, believe it or not.

That's what it is about. Can't beat that FABARM for smoothness of recoil and muzzle jump though. Tomorrow afternoon shit will start gettibg crazy with the 390, pulling for ya though.

Yeah I know it will get bid up. I am going to wait till the last 20 minutes, then decide a top dollar amount I am willing to spend.
If it goes for more, I will be looking at the 3901.

Get the 390 even if it costs 750.
You wont regret it.
Just do it.
Probably will want an extended choke tube.
Mine works better with that.
Brileys EXR extended range. (Or whatever)

Might catch a better break making "Or I'm outta here..." offers in pawn shops. They're in the business of moving merchandise, and this is probably a slow time for shotguns.

Does it end today?

I'd have thought with the quasi holiday people wouldn't be paying attention today.

I once bought a brand new T/C Encore Pro Hunter Stainless .50 cal with flex tech/thumb hole stock for $480 on a Sunday morning sitting in church.
Not sure what genius thought 9:30 am would be a good time to end an auction.

BTW - $528 doesn't seem too far outta whack compared to the rest of what's for sale.

Yeah, and you have to add on shipping, and an FFL fee. Buts in the ball park for sure.

Then I am approaching $600, near the price I can get a new 3901 for that neighborhood.

I am holding out for a DEAL. There is a gun show next month I will be going to.

Have you shot a 390 and 3901?
The 390 is a better fit for me.
I love how its a lot like a hump-back A5.
Kicks WAY less.
The 3901's are nice. The 3901 is "Remington feeling" to me which is also good.

Shoot both, decide, but dont let price affect your decision.
100-200 bucks one way or the other is petty cash in the game we play.
