Tomkat...390 parts

What scatter guns are you using?

Tomkat wrote:No. The M2 was custom fitted for me. It is more ergonomically friendly than any shotgun I have ever seen. It is lighter and has history with me. The M2 is a very under rated (and over priced) shotgun imo.

Having said that, I will say my impression of the 390 so far is very good. It will probably see more action than expected. I really like it and I have been grinding the hell out of clays with it. I am looking forward to putting a new 26" barrel on it. My cousin wants the brass bead on it so I will trade him for a green one.

At this point I would say the 390 has exceeded all of my expectations. A really solid auto loader.

All better now!

Each of us are different, it would definitely be my choice between the two guns mentioned.

Tr not to drop the Beretta overboard into Lake Michigan like that one guy did. K?
If the benelli goes, let it. Dive in after the Beretta.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

The coyote pulled my little Benelli overboard in our pothole last season, and I jumped out right behind it only to find the water topping my waders unless I held onto the Go-devil and tip toed around trying to find it. Didn't have a clue how I'd get it up off what passes for "bottom" until I found it with my knee suspended in the sludge. Took the shells out, swished the open action in the cleaner surface water, reloaded and went back to hunting.

(That having taken place in a wicked lightening storm made it more fun than it sounds.)

Brandy knocked my M2 into a lake one time. We dried it out (melted ice) on the dash board of the truck and I killed birds with it that day.

Those of you who elevate the 390 over the M2 need to change the recoil spring in both. Exactly the same tube except the m2 is more user friendly to change.

My 390 is like a new gun. It had a ton of grime and carbon in it. Now its slick as a whistle with new a power spring in it. It cycles light loads. New barrel coming Tuesday. Will shoot clays on the 4th with it.

On boats you have to sides. Deck side and engine room side. The deck is captains, mates, deckhands(ab and os). The engine room side is the chief, assistant engineers, qmeds(oilers, electricians, tankerman, pumpmen,) and wipers. The deck side typically consists of dumbass misfits. Ships are really segregated to the 2 sides and we typically don't want shit to do with each other.

Sorry buddy....I am the exception to your little rule.
On board YOUR YACHT....what are you? Drink girl? Deck Hand? Gilligan?

FUCK NO, you are called......Captain JAPANIGGA!!!

So please, pretty please, when one of your engineering buds hears me call you Captain, tell him I am a dumb ass from Kansas. How would I know the difference?

New barrel and choke tubes are coming tomorrow. Cant wait for my 4th July shoot with them.

I like my 30" barrel. Don't know if it really helps anything but I like it a lot better than the 26" that I have.
