I took my new gun out last night and fired it 10-12 times. I think I am going to like it just fine. It fed my light target loads just fine.

I had an issue shouldering it in that clip, but I think it will work out.

UPDATE: I took the gun over to my cousins after work. WE shot it another 20 times, and at double clays.

Worked like a champ.

I got another barrel for it yesterday, will sell the marred one.

Got another barrel AND 3 mobile chokes

Stupid question- is mobile choke a brand, or do you mean threaded? As a lifelong user of factory chokes, I know absolutely nothing about aftermarket chokes. I like to keep it that way, but sometimes I hear something like "mobile chokes", and want to make sure I know what the hell I'm talking about.

Beretta has at least 3 generations (names) of their chokes.

The MC= Mobile Choke system is, in fact, factory chokes. So I am getting 3 factory choke tubes with my barrel. Its just a name for a family of flush tubes that happen to fit my gun.

Jarbo has provided me with an aftermarket tube for waterfowling, and my cousin has a kicks that will fit my gun....further testing is required.

Should have the barrel and tubes by Tuesday, just in time for my annual 4th of July shoot.

Beretta Mobil chokes also have Mobil plus chokes and I believe a different set for the new a400, could be wrong there. All just different threads as compared to a Phillips and flathead screw driver. A product selling feature.

They do have new chokes for the A400. Captive parts, perhaps?

My shotgun came with a factory full beretta. In the process of trying all the factory chokes...could not get Beretta tubes so bought Binelli ones. They fit and work but I ended up deciding the factory full was better for ducks and geese. It is.
I was gifted a really nice Brileys EXR extended range
When I patterned and compared factory full to briley's I could not decide which was better. The EXR makes the gun almost 1.5" longer, looks cool, and makes it safer in pits. Less likely to fall over.
Otherwise I would use the FFull.

The factory full patterned good, but Jarbo have me an extended tube that fits my gun he said really patterns good. Will try it soon.

I still need to get some shims to cast off more.

TK, just put Jarbo's tube in and forget about it. Get you cast adjusted and kill mucho waterfowl. In eight months you'll be telling us all how smooth and easy your 390 is and how it hardly kicks.
Have you shot two rounds, same ammo, though each gun side by side yet? I have. (It was Tim Bradley's Benelli shotgun) Ever hear of him?

In Kansas, it is legal to have 2 guns in the boat. One will be a goose gun, one a duck gun. I have a feeling the 390 will have the goose loads in it.

Not shot them side by side yet. I really like them both. The M2 is lighter to carry, fits me perfect. The 390 is a great back up gun.
