I own some nice shotguns as I'm sure a lot of you other guys do. I have an old Winchester model 1912, made in 1916. I redid the whole complete gun, building the new stock, replacing parts with better quality, re-bluing etc. It handles like a dream because of that old corncob forend that causes the that gun to sit lower in the hand. Makes it a nice and very firm pointed gun, post pics of your own old boys duck hammer.

I used to hunt with Winchester Model 12's and shoot trap with them. At one time I had 12 mod 12's and 4 mod 42, all with ribs and good wood. Alas, along came steel shot and I sold or traded all of them.

Holy shit! I have only one other model 12, and it's an old 20 gauge with a 28" barrel with a fixed full choke, but what sets it apart from others is the fact that it has a solid rib.

I think I know where a couple of high grade Model 12 trap guns are in California.

I dig the old model 12s, 16 and 12 ga are on my list. My oldest, and favorite gun is a 1954 Sweet 16 Auto 5.

Here's my model 12 "heavy duck" 3" 12gauge. I had the forcing cone lengthened and screw in chokes put in it. Started as a youth shooting a 20 gauge model12 that was my grandma's gun.

Some guy brought in a whole collection of solid rib duck guns to the local consignment shop and put them all up for $300. Soukd have gotten one before the all we're taken. All were in well over 94% condition.

1909 mod 11 rem, fun old gun to shoot.

Not as old as the one you have there, but the shop had one for $200. Should have bought when I had the chance, but of course I thought it was too expensive for some lousy POS!

hand me down,had to spend a little to get it up to snuff .had to re choke it for steel but it,s a blast to shoot teal with. bout all i use it for.just like old gun,s.

I've got a couple of 1100s, 60-70s. Really good guns in literally new condition.
