I'm trying to decide on a new shotgun. A stoeger M3000 or a Franchi Affinity what do you guys think?

Tell you what, the Affinity has really caught my attention from reviews I've read and a couple guys I know have them and really like it.
I dont know about that model Stoeger but a coworker said he had a m2000. The recoil spring up front broke and the bolt broke.

Have you looked at a Remington? I personally don't care for Turkish made guns. I have heard good things about Franchi though. Have you looked at any Mossberg autos? People seem to like them and I know a few of the guys on here hunt with Mossbergs so they should be able to fill you in on what they think of them.

For the love of God don't get a Remington, everything they have made in the past 10 years is garbage. The Affinity is a damn nice gun, and the new Intensity (3.5" version) should be a hell of a gun for under $1000. Between that and the SX3, probably the two best autoloaders in that price range.
To achieve success, one must possess dedication, passion and a boatload of decoys.

Didn't say it had to be new. I would say they went to shit when they switched from the original 700 trigger to the X Mark Pro bullshit.

My buddy is looking to sell his new Maxus - probably doesn't have 50 rounds through it.

Tiangs31-That browning maxus would be a nice semi-auto.
