with so many choke tubes and different shells and what not… what is the best combo you have, choke tube and shell, for the SBE2? mid-range and further preferably!

I use the stock chokes and Kent 3inch #3. Works good for me. I think Tripod has a choke extension on his SBE and maybe can help you there.

Hi friend, and welcome to the site! I do have that gun and have done some patterning with it, not a lot though, and I like to use the Carlson's extended waterfowler choke tube set with Kent 3" #3's and #2's. I have the link for them on cabelas for you here: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Carlsons-Waterfowl-Choke-Tube-Sets/753252.uts.
Anything else I can help with just ask.

I have a couple of SBE's, not the SBE ii's so my chokes are not the same as the SBE ii's but if it means anything, I have all the factory chokes, some Briley chokes and some Wilson Precision chokes. Currently (last season) using a Wilson Precision IC extended choke. Most of the birds I shoot in the face, chest and legs as they are trying to land in the decoys. A few years ago when I was on a goose lease I shot geese with a Briley IM and thought it was great.

As far as extended chokes go, I don't see what 3/4" does for you but it looks pretty cool. If you can get a choke that is ported or slotted, it makes a lot more noise in the blind and looks really cool too.

My best advice would be to get an extended choke AND a barrel sticker, you can't miss with that set up.

My gun is not pink, the barrel and upper receiver has been hydrographically dipped in a camo pattern called "Muddy Girl", something far too advanced of someone not secure in their manhood.

Better go back and check who was talking shit about your pink gun.
