X2.

Which reminds me, I need to take the Imp choke out from shooting trap and put the Mod back in for birding this fall.

Damn ya'll shoot some tight chokes. I shoot a Briley Diffusion choke most of the time. It's a rifled spreader choke. I always shoot over decoys though.

This exactly.

And fwiw, their black cloud, blindside, and even their sporting clays chokes are the same choke tube with a different name. I usually just use the long range choke for ducks and geese. Bought a close range one for ducks this year so I don't tear them to pieces.

I bought the Carlson's extended waterfowler set with close, mid, and full after my factory chokes were stolen by Customs agents.

I use a HeviShot mid range for waterfowl. It patterns really well. For turkey I use a Hevi-Shot tube with Hevi-13 shot, nothing else comes close to patterning as well.

Hevi-shot mid range works great out of my gun. The factory tubes weren't bad, but the Hevi-shot stays tight all the way to 40 yards.

There's a factory IC stuck in my 20ga Montefeltro and a factory MOD that's split lengthwise stuck in my SBE. If this old computer wasn't too screwed up to do much with photos, I'd take a shot of the SBE's barrel, which is no longer concentric after giving split choke removal the old college try with an easy out. Some might get a kick out of that. But it still does its part when I do mine.

Don't make me do it, Rick. I'll send a whammy out there, and TK and Jarbo will be upset with me. I've got a yard full of chickens....

EASY buddy. I am going to do my best to put you in front of some ducks holding this new gun. You better say a voodoo prayer of good luck to this shooting iron.

I would love to see you get your first sprig with it.

I told you, no way. My 870 would divorce me if I shot a sprig with a borrowed shooting iron. We're in this together for the long haul.
