Need a verdict from Rex

Postby bill herian » Wed Jul 09, 2014 9:22 am

Pa went for 100 last night. He's gotten the 75 four or five times but never the 100.

Here's how it went down.

He shot ahead for next week, before regular league, and shot a 23.

He then shot league, and got the 25.

In the gospel according to Rex, is it a legitimate 100, or does he need to shoot it consecutively?

He's ready to burn the patch at your word.

To me or the ATA, no it would not be a legitimate 100 straight. However, being that it is a league, and most leagues are just for fun, yeah it could be called a 100 to you. Either way, 75 straight is still some damn good shooting.

I'm still trying to figure out how 23 and 25 add up to 100.

He shot a 25 the last three weeks. Do I have to explain three ways I know that adds up to 75?

So this week he showed up, but he had to shoot ahead for next week, so he did and shot a 23. That will be his recorded score for next week. He then shot his regularily scheduled league and shot a 25.

The scorecard will reflect 100 straight, but he had the shoot-ahead 23 in between.

You never said he shot 5 times. Only two times were specified, a 23 and a 25. Let me put it in your world:

"Our boat has had 90-fish outings several times. On Monday we went out and caught 5 and Wednesday we caught 5, but on Tuesday we only caught 2. So does that count as catching 100 fish this week?
