If I had a new weapon I'd clean it with this stuff.
Have used lots of different lubes but this stuff is like magic.

They didn't bring that up once in "material science classes" which are mostly about steel.
In the refuge there is a sticky on cleaning your gun with formula 409 to degrease it.
To get the grease off they packed it in I'd start there.

Since this is a new gun shouldn't we be pushing getting it dipped? It's only money and they'll have to clean it to dip it.

Starts with disassembly and a soak in a bucket of formula 409.
Tried it and I'm satisfied with it being "the way".
Whoever posted that deserves credit.
Out of all the horse shit I've seen online that's the best tip I've seen.
My gun lost a couple if it's quirks once I gave it a good soak in 409.
