You guys give me shit about not smiling in pics. Here's my proof, it's genetic. My grandson and he is so excited he can hardly stand still for the pic.

Now that's about as serious as a kid can get, about trapping or anything for that matter.

So Jehler, what do you do with Jr after he skins his skunk? I mean, is he living out back in that structure he was putting together a few months ago or in the garage?

Are they all white, or is that a special kind? Don't know much about weasels.

Weasel fact:
The short-tailed weasel (Mustela erminea) is the second smallest member of the weasel family. Like the long-tailed weasel and its other relatives, the short-tailed weasel, also known as the ermine, is a predator. The short-tailed weasel occupies a wider variety of habitats than the long-tailed weasel, which include wetlands, forests, and fields. It is trapped for its fur, but not avidly.

Not sure how big the short tail are suppose to be but guessing it is a little one. I'm guessing I will never retire if I rely on the ermine.

I load mine from the computer, so one of these guys with a super phone might be able to help you turn them.

'nother weasel (ermine) fact:
Like all members of the weasel family, the short-tailed weasel has a long, slender body, short legs, and a long neck. It can grow to a length of seven to 13 inches and a weight of one to seven ounces. The male is noticeably larger than the female.

Watched an ermine take down a full size cottontail during rifle season a couple years back. Good thing they are only 8" long.
