For real new turkey loads...

Postby DeadEye_Dan » Sun Apr 21, 2013 9:34 am

My buddy and I have been playing around with some TSS.

Check out this 1 5/8oz load out of a Rem 870 20ga @ 40 yards. Indian Creek .562 choke.

465 pellets in 10" circle.

Lol, yep!

There's 815 pellets in a 2.25oz load, so, guessing around 575-600 in the 1 5/8

Penetrates (ballistics gel)1.25" at 75 yards, takes .321 seconds to get there, that should give some one smarter than me the drop. At 40 yards it penetrates 2.13"

80% in a 10" circle @ 40 yards.

Not much room for error on a teal.
