Went out and pulled most of my marten line. I'm tired of putting 60 miles on the sled and hiking in deep snow for only 1 or no catches. I will pull the rest next week. I did manage a couple rats today and got a couple more sets in. Here is a better pic of my cubby.

That is a snare for beaver. I was making a castor mound set with a 330, when the trigger broke, so I set up with a snare instead.
1 rat was a 110 and 1 rat was a 1.5coil on a drowner

Gotcha. Is that a run from a lodge, or did you kick that into the bank and bait behind it? I don't know the first thing about trapping them.

I built that. The beaver have made a number of these in this area so I'm hopeful to get some action.
Have you seen or tried the diablo dp's? They look like a good deal. 99.99 a dozen

Just found out last night that the pickup date for the second sale is this Saturday. WTF. All those coons aren't going to be ready until the third sale, which pretty much will make it pointless, I suspect.

How far away is your agent? If you give them to him direct you will have until the 10th, i believe.

We thought about driving them down (he's only about an hour), but he wants the furs early, since he had to pick up a portion of another guy's rout up into Pennsylvania, because of the three-sale schedule. Something got a little screwed up, and he's jammed up.

You should be able to drop them off to him. My agent will let me drop even if he's not there. An hour isn't bad at all. I would definitely get as much in the next sale as possible and sell to groeny maybe for the stuff that won't make it.
Ranch mink are selling 100% clearances in kopenhagen right now but down almost 50% from last feb. :(

I managed 4 rats and a beaver today. This is the first time I caught a beaver in a rat set with a 1.5 coil on number 14 wire for a drown wire. I got lucky it was a solid front foot catch. 17lb beaver.

Nice! Was that a double in that first set? Looks like another off to the left, under the water. And what kind of set was that one?

Yes it is a double. There is 2 110 conis there. Perfect dam crossover set.

The brave came from near that pic that it took the other day. I didn't do a castor mound on that set. I just made a mock slide and put some fresh aspen on it for bait. I put that set in yesterday. He weighed 46lbs. It is tough cause the ice and snow keeps melting.

Is that up on the hill? Is that cubby pretty big or is the fox smallish?
I bet you can't guess what your mam said when I told her you got another fox. :D

It is a normal sized fox I believe. It is on the hill.
This is what I finished the day with. 1 coon 1 rat 1 fox and a beaver is running around with a 1.5 on his foot.
