Is there anyone in yalls areas that buys the animals whole? There is/was a guy around here that would buy shit whole, just stick it in a trash bag and freeze.

My type martens avg last year 120$
I believe that it may be a good thing they held the line for next auction. They sold the heavy martens for half price.(the ones they sold)
Otter was the worst hit this auction until marten.

Closest would be 1.5hr drive to meet. It's not worth it to me to sell in the round. I want all the money. Call me greedy :)

Holy crap, that sucks. I won't bellyache about my foxes anymore. If I took that kind of hit on my foxes, I would've been selling at about $14. Eff that. Fur Harvesters had a $60 average on their foxes, and north central coons averages $30. I think everything else was down, though, but seeing how that's all I have in this one (foxes and coons), I maybe should have sent there. Never have before though. Oh well. NAFA usually beats the pants off them, but not this time.

I believe FHA had a smaller batch of better furs as that sale is a special sale and doesn't offer all goods. Their sale coming up in Helsinki will be a better comparison.

They revised the auction schedule. The June sale got pushed back to September, and the April sale back to May13th. If you have any you thought about waiting til the last sale, you might want to rush them a little into May's sale.

They are only buying easterns. I have westerns.
They don't have enough wild fur overall for their original schedule. There was a short harvest due to weather.

I'm hoping my coons cover the 9% for my foxes. But I doubt they will. Oh well.

Yotes are suddenly selling like crazy thanks to that coat Broadway Joe wore at the superbowl. Hear about how many orders there are for that coat? Went viral.

Maybe Broadway helped on the coyotes but I'm not too sure. They were selling that much last year.

Ho-Lee fuck. I was helping a buddy on an addition and didn't listen. I don't know that I've seen anything shit the bed as badly as coons did today.

I had 22 in the sale, all graded pretty close, XL, XXL, clarity 1, 2, or 3.

I sold 5. 1 for $11, 2 for $9, and 2 for $4. All the rest bought back. This week has been pretty shitty, and I made the mistake of thinking it couldn't get worse.

Coon prices were similar to 2012. They had a lot better clearances then marten or beaver, so they weren't the worst

Sorry AT. I've trapped coons and had to drown them due to landowner forbidding guns. It ain't worth the time to drown them at that price IMO.

Where does one listen in on these auctions?
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams
