Minty fresh!

Postby quackhead » Sun Mar 02, 2014 3:47 pm

I read a post on another forum the other day. It was about using toothpaste for muskrats. I figured, what the hell do I got to lose? I put it on 4 of my rat sets and when I checked this morning I had 4 rats in those sets. So I would say it works!

I was wondering. Did you add the toothpaste to an apple slice (or whatever you use), or did you substitute the toothpaste?

I substituted it. I either put on the end of a little stick or squirted on the snow or mud. A lot easier and faster then using an apple and I think the birds leave it alone.

There must be some type of minty root that muskrats love like candy.
