Cutting the whole gland will likely get you less money. Extracting it gives you pure essence which is $10-12 an oz. once the pods are empty you can collect those also. They have a little value. It would probably be better to drop an empty pod down a dirthole though.

If you stick the needle in and pull with nothing coming into it, it will create a vacuum. Just slide the needle in and out until the needle starts to fill. That's when you know your in the pod.
Ps do not pull needle out with a vacuum built and a little stink in it. It will shoot shit out of the needle. I know from the first attempt at this. It is easier if you skin around the pods so you can see but can be done anyway you are comfortable
