I had a large limb break off a tree in my yard a while back and I saved a couple chunks for projects like this.

What kind of tree? :o

Was anyone hurt when the limb broke? Was there a cradle on the limb (bough)?

Nice call, I probably would have used to smoke a brisket or something.

Holy hell, glad she's okay!

Been hearing a lot of reports from my friends in the Big Rapids area that they just got obliterated. Haven't seen a ton of pictures yet, but it doesn't sound good.

Pics from Lakeview airport (20 miles south) have a bunch of planes flipped and hangar doors collapsed inward. Evacuation orders along the Muskegon in Newaygo County. 25 miles upstream from BR the Muskegon was at 7200 CFS from an average 816 CFS, and higher than any recorded single measurement in 81 years. Flood stage is 12.3', gauge is currently at 14.4 and isnt expected to crest until Wednesday.
