Heck yeah it did. I sent 3 foxes and 6 coons, and only 2 fox and 1 coon are in the damn sale. Oh well. Always next year. The fact that there's 750,000 coon in there can't mean anything good, either.

Sounds like the coon aren't done yet. My coon and 1 ermine are missing still. Overall, I'm happy with my grades. My mink graded very good. They were also march caught. I even got a little crap for trapping them on trapperman forum.

People that bitch about that really have no clue. To stop just because it's a certain "time", without seeing any thinning of hides, is dumb. You can tell when they're starting to shed out, and if they haven't, there's no reason at all to stop. Hell, my fox were almost all December caught, and over half graded flat. No rhyme or reason to it, sometimes.

Just like all the people bitching about catching young coon and anything but northern coon. Go piss up a rope.

I'm hoping your right. I picked up some duke dp's for $10 apiece the other day. I also got some mb750's for $20 apiece.

I caught a coon in April and got $18 for it. Can't complain about that :)

I still have no clue what happened to my fox this year. Went from SSL and SEL, even Top Lot, to over half Flat and Semi-flat. Actually over half. I'm a pretty skeptical person, but that makes me skeptical. I'm not talking price, I know that goes up and down, I'm talking grade. Been putting up furs the same way for quite a long while, and never had shit like this year.

My fox would've went for 24 in the feb sale. Not as good as I thought. My yotes would've went for 90 and 64. I'm excited to see how they do.

I'm telling you, there's some shady shit going on lately. I'm still OK with it, but may send 10 foxes or so to the auction in Finland next year, just to see how they do. I like NAFA, but it seems silly to have all my eggs in the same basket for so long.

Yeah, they're trying to make their nut in volume so they don't have to carry over furs, which I understand. But it still sucks.

Nut in volume

That sounds dirty.

If you sell half price then you just need to sell twice as many :)
