Just finished my first Decoy, I've carved a lot of decorative decoys, decided to do a smoothie. Didn't put any weight to balance it, more for display than to hunt with I guess. I don't mind constructive criticism I'll post a photo

Welcome to the forum. Good looking decoy.

Have you ever wondered why your **** still looks brand new, but your face is starting to look like an aging pirate?

I like it. Has character in the paint scheme.

Thanks , I enjoy seeing the old style decoys, and though it would be fun to make a few. Trying the Buffelhead next. :duck:

Hey Gold Fish, first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, has long been my favourite times of living also. Best times to hunt, or just be alone, peace :!: :!: :!:

Hello across the board. New to this hobby and hoping to get up to speed with this craft. Not much experance as of yet just starting out. Hoping to get a few suggestions on best route getting started. Maybe a few lessons from other successful artists would be the fastest way getting up to speed ? Located on Cape Cod Ma. Any suggestions would be great. Lots of great info here many thanks to all.
