Keeping The Craft Alive

Postby RickC » Fri Sep 20, 2013 3:31 pm

My son came up for a visit before he finishes up his entrance, swears in and heads off to boot camp.
He got to messing around at my bench and I offered to teach him to build a mini wire and canvas goose. Was like hanging a tbone in front of a starving yote.

Well for me its still a hobby, but yeah its pretty cool. Sitting there watching him work on it has been as enjoyable as doing them myself, more so.
I hear ya about the time. Time with the kids is precious. You start off feeding, burping them and changing diapers and the next thing you know they're starting college or joining the Army.

And done, not bad for his first. The heads a little small for the body but it'll do for a Christmas ornament.

I see he upgraded to a DP instead of that mountain lightning, good call.

I really like those minis by the way.

Yeah we decided to let him have some of the good stuff.
I need to finish the 7 I've had sitting waiting for heads.
