Been a while

Postby Baysider » Wed Mar 19, 2014 2:56 pm

Hope everyone is doing well. I havent had time to get online much with work and travel. My carving time has been even more limited. I recently finished this bird. its been so long since I completed one I felt like I had to relearn a few things. This one was dontated to an auction to benifit one of the good guys who has been diagnosed with cancer. Pretty happy with my blending but my white on white painting still needs some work.

Hollow northern white cedar and oil paint.

If the goal was to kill buffies, I think it'd work just fine, you should see Trapper Dev's "special Ed"!

I still want to come down and spend some time in your shop. I need another hobby like a hole in the head, but it's always been something I wanted to try. Some day I'll find time, but life keeps getting in the way.

This commi state closed the speckled trout season until July. I'll be in the shop plenty here soon. Just say when man....I am planning another carving get together as well if you'd like to join in. Havent set a date yet.
