On the bench

Postby Baysider » Tue Apr 08, 2014 11:06 am

I screwed up and told my hunting buddy's daughters that I'd carve them a bird to match their first kill if they would go ahead and get over the recoil. It worked....they both killed birds that day. Of course one killed a hen wood duck. Ive gotten started on it but no paint yet. The other killed a dipper; a much easier bird to paint!

Im also working on a 2/3's life size swan as a centerpiece for our dining room table for the wife. This is a chunk of wood.

That wood duck is looking really good!

What is a dipper?
Have you ever wondered why your dick still looks brand new, but your face is starting to look like an aging pirate?

Thanks Woody. Dipper is the local term for a bufflehead.
