Most people in Georgia who duck hunt only use the GON forum to cyber scout.

Haven't scouted it out much. The geese dont really frequent my spots on the flint, but I have seen a ton at the golf course where I work. Got a little pond out on the back nine where I think I'm gona be able to pull off some pre work hunts. I'm not really much for hunting in shorts and flip flops but if this weather keeps up early season could be fun.

Sent from my phone.

I think 3 or 4 of us are. I live in AL these days but I'm over in GA all the time.

No I was not invited from any other list I found this one just looking for more info on waterfowl hunting in GA.

Yes I do make a living trapping and I might add a dam good one. I am not making a living fur trapping even though I make money on fur trapping its just play money and to keep my skills up. I trap nuisance wildlife like beaver, coyotes, fox, raccoon, rats, geese and on and on and on then we do a lot of exclusion work. This keeps me busy 365 days a year.

How do you get fed approval for geese removal? I had a potential nuisance goose job this summer, and the property owner couldn't get anywhere with anybody. I have no clue what to tell them, never having dealt with geese.

Ours is through the state DNR. It doesn't say anything abt federal. If I can find the damn permit in my desk ill post a picture of it.

I've got this armadillo rooting up my yard & I still have Ollys live trap in my shed. What's a good bait for them?

That's how I always catch them. Try some fancy feast.

I'll send you some armadillo lure. If it looks like a Prego jar full of piss, that's purely coincidental.

I have never heard of a truly reliable diller bait other than the smell of an other diller. Put some carpet or piece of plywood in the bottom of the cage and use fencing to force him into the cage. Once you catch that first one use the carpet or plywood as your bait.I do not know what cage trap you have but most will not hold a dillo for long.

You need to set the fencing near active sign and 1 X 8 or 1 X 10 wood normally works good but just about anything will work in a pinch.
