My buddy bought a high powered dog out of state.
And payed a exorbitant amount for him and he is a great dog.
But she hunts circles around him.
So he hounded me until a agreed to breed her to his male.
She is due in a month or so.

I the wife and I took her dog out this morning it was his first time on birds in the field.
I set a few bobs and hoped he would be successful on one and to my disbelief he found , flushed , and retrieved everyone.
My wife was so proud , she has been involved with all of his work at the home ranch.

No don't think so.
First of all a guy always thinks his dog is head and shoulders above the rest , I'm sure I'm no different lol.
Second he's young and my buddy is a workaholic so the dog is not out as he should be.
Third his DNA is from championship stock on the field side.
So I think they will be good pups.
Her last litter was 11 and I have been able to follow 5 of them they have all turned out to be good dogs.
Only time will tell.
