I noticed she especially liked a tennis ball so thats what I used. I would get her all revved up before I threw it and praised her a lot.

His approach is amazingly similar to dealing with horses. And I've never felt the need to CC a horse. Yes, a dog may refuse to fetch sometime, but I assure you, the danger of that would be nowhere near as bad as a horse deciding it will do whatever the fuck it wants while you're on it's back. Now that I think about it, damn near everything he does is a direct "translation" to dealing with a horse, even down to the nonverbal cues.

I hear ya. Honestly during my work week I only get one session in with her. On my days off I'll get in two.
