Well I was trying to do some yard work today and my damn golden retriever Sprig wouldn't stop bringing me every damn ball and stick he could find in the yard. It's been 3 weeks since our season ended so I figured I better take him out and work with him for both of our sanity.

Did some work on obedience and doubles, and a few blinds...

He gets some major air and he makes quite a splash at 90 pounds.

It's a shame people underestimate the ability of these dogs but ill continue to hunt over one for the rest of my life. Maybe a Taz dog too since the wife thinks she needs one. :)

Those Hex a Bumpers are damn near unusable for us up here for 4-5 months out of the year. Can't wait for the weather to warm up.

Is that because everything is froze up? The place we were at today is great for dog work this time of year but in a month the ticks will take over and I stay away its a shame!

Yes. Those bumpers turn into bricks. They get so hard you could probably pound a nail in with them. I have quite a few, so I just put them away for the winter.

It's photoshopped! It was my lab but I cropped in the golden. Hardest part was getting him to pose for the jumping shots as he laid on the dog bed in my living room. :)
