I cut the hair from his eyes about every 3 days it seems he doesnt usually look that way he had just came in from a retrieve and was wet

Yes I beleive you could call it that he doesn't shed at all.

There are a lot of dogs with hair.

Schnauzer is another one. Along with the whole terrier line I believe. There are quite a few for sure.

Also, hair and fur are one in the same. The thing that makes these breeds different is that they don't shed.

No, not at all. They are the same exact thing. Hair=Fur Fur=Hair. There isn't a bit of difference. Just something dog folk tend to create their own definition for.

I know a quick look at the hairbrushes in the bathroom reveal that all the females in my household shed hair like mangy raccoons.

Better do your research. They are the same thing. Synonyms. Anatomically identical.

They are, unless you are just going by what you think. They are anatomically identical. However. by your definition, hair is on your head and it is fur everywhere else on your body.
