Everything Duck Dogs!

Miss Belle

Postby triplecurl » Sat Jun 15, 2013 9:45 pm

Had to say goodbye and put my dog down today. Needless to say it was very tough, but letting her suffer wasn't an option. While having duck hunted for 10+ years, I never owned a duck dog until Belle. Not a champion dog, but a good meat dog with great drive and my first hunting dog I trained myself. RIP Miss Belle.

Prayers man. I dread the day

Worst day for any dog owner. Thoughts and prayers your way...

I think this is where something clever about tapatalk should go.

That's a great looking dog there tc. I can't say that I know what you're going through, but my first duck dog is 13 now (black female too) and in the back of my mind I know the day is probably coming soon.

Toughest decision a dog owner can have. Prayers sent. Think about the good times you had and remember she is better off not suffering now.

Their time is always too short no matter how long we share with them. Thoughts out your way.
