We took in my wifes bff's farm cat. It was 30 yrs ago but that dam cat had fleas. I discovered by accident that fleas go for white.
We moved. Took all our stuff and left. Couple days later went back to spot-check.
Was wearing shorts and white sox. I got attacked. Everywhere white was instantly crawling and biting.

Have had several labs. Two black and now a yellow one. I kinda figured yellow would be bad. There are white areas on a yellow lab.
Boy was I wrong. Milo has only had fleas once and we got ridda them easy.
I wonder why...when our black labs got fleas getting rid of them seemed much harder and took longer.
Any theories?

To treat for fleas:
1) treat pet
2) treat its bed and your carpet. Bomb the house if its inside dog.
3) treat your lawn

All three and you are flea free.
