With the upland season coming to an end, Taz can finally start healing, start getting a beard back also. I noticed yesterday while giving a belly rub, how beat up and scarred his chest and stomach is, looks like he's been through the ringers. Big comparison in pics from before the season and today.

I have some boots, but he has never needed them. With all the upland work we do, his feet are very tough. He has handled, sand burrs, goat horns, and sage fields very well. We go for walks on the sidewalks and streets before the season starts, along with throwing a few dummies a week in the school parking lot to toughen his pads up.
